I’ve moved away from internal tape drives as well as traditional NAS units in favor of multiple cheap external drives or what I call RALFs because I couldn’t make an interesting acronym out of MCED. At $100 or less a pop, you can pretty much have one of these for each day of the week and still spend less than the cost of a few 100GB tapes.

Glad to see you back. Enjoy your posts. Hope the Siebert lyinching material hasn’t been lost. That story isn’t over yet, although the Governor certainly prejudiced it by giving the Anderson’s such a big premature award.
