This report by Medienkritik ties in with the findings reported in my book review on Christianity and affluence. The bottom line is that respect for private property and liberty makes more people better off at all levels of society than using socialism to make sure that everybody does poorly.

Of course, when the European system collapses, the left will whine it is all be *our* fault, and we will not be “Christian” unless we subsidize its continuing failure.

I got a lot of hits from my trackback to the DefCon article I read. Sorry about that all you DefCon folk — this isn’t really a hacker blog, but a religious/political one. I don’t mean to waste your time, I just also happen to have some other interests.

I noticed couple of interesting things though — the browser share flipped from being 60% IE a few days ago to being 60% Firefox/Mozilla today. Go team. The OS share has stayed the same, though — about 70% Windoze, 10% Linux, 20% Mac. Oh, well.
