The Washington Post, fresh from it’s victory in electing Obama, is now attempting to whitewash Hamas terrorism. It’s all just fun and games. Or, according to the Post,
In its efforts to stop amateur rockets from nagging the residents of some of its southern cities, Israel appears to have given new life to the fledging Islamic movement in Palestine.
Wow. Iranian military missiles are now “amature rockets” and killing school children by blowing them into chunks of red meat is “nagging.”
Class act, Washington Post. Good thing we have “professional” journalists to tell us the “truth.” Let’s see if they can do to Israel what they did to the US election. H/T LGF

What better way to recognize the birth of Jesus Christ than to renew the practice of judicial execution by crucifixion. And, of course, as the Dems would remind us, these are the *good* guys. H/T LGF.
There’s nothing that says “Progressive” like nailing an infidel to a cross.
On Tuesday, Hamas legislators marked the Christmas season by passing a Shari’a criminal code for the Palestinian Authority. Among other things, it legalizes crucifixion.
Hamas’s endorsement of nailing enemies of Islam to crosses came at the same time it renewed its jihad. Here, too, Hamas wanted to make sure that Christians didn’t feel neglected as its fighters launched missiles at Jewish day care centers and schools. So on Wednesday, Hamas lobbed a mortar shell at the Erez crossing point into Israel just as a group of Gazan Christians were standing on line waiting to travel to Bethlehem for Christmas.
Oh yes, and for some completely incomprehensible reason, Israel objected when they keep lobbing missles into Israel, and the world hates the Jews for their lack of tolerance. Sheesh. If only we could follow the UN guidelines, crucify all the Christians, and bomb all the Jews, and then the world would truly be the paradise the Religion of Peace wants it to truly be.

As those of us of the Christian faith remember the birth of our Savior, Jesus the Christ, I pray that God blesses all who read this. May God be with you and your families, may He be with those who are struggling in the down economy, and may He be with those who are fighting for us overseas. May the message of His redemption, His love for each and every one of us individually, and His gift of life and the rights of individual liberty help make the next year a successful one for all of you.
Hark! The herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled!”
Joyful, all ye nations rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With th’angelic host proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Hail the heav’nly Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Ris’n with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die.
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”

Here’s a source of 1736 “forgotten books” that are free online or for a nominal fee as a hardback. I’m not sure about the criteria for this collection, but it includes fiction, philosophy, occult, religion, history, folklore and other. It’s worth a look.

Headline of the day:
Obama team probe of Obama team finds no Obama team impropriety
(From the LA Times blog, H/T/ Extreme Mortman )
As might be expected, the self-clearing was a little light on content.

The religious zealots of the left want us all to believe that GW created the subprime crisis by “deregulation.” Even the Village Voice admits it’s a crock. The subprime crisis was created by the Clintonistas Obama is putting back in power. Get ready for a fun ride.
