Boycott San Francisco
July 14th, 2005 byIn a stunning rejection of the fight in World War II, San Francisco has rejected the USS Iowa. This is pretty disgusting. If San Francisco hates WWII vets and the destruction of Nazism all that much, I don’t think they need my money.
Hat tip to Michelle Malkin and GayPatriot.

Thoroughly disgusting. To reject the Iowa because of military policy towards gays or because they’re “not proud” of US history since the 40s.
Thing is, this is about the level of intelligence I’ve learned to expect from city council members everywhere. That SF is a big city only makes their ignorance louder. I won’t boycott my favorite city over this, especially since the vote was not unanimous.
Further searching: A Senator neither of us particularly admires also blasts the decision: Feinstein.
The article just told me it’s moored in Suisun Bay. I’ll be damned. That’s a holding pen for large vessels that I pass by fairly regularly. Interesting if it goes to Stockton. Will give me my first reason ever to visit the place.

Idiots. I guess when Iran points a nuke at SF, the flower children won’t want our military’s help, huh?
What’s wrong with Feinstein anyway?

What a bunch of losers. I won’t boycott SF either. This is just the latest in a long show of gradnstanding by a bunch of politcos
who crave attention no matter what form it takes. Things are kind of quiet around here now for these people, and I guess they just noticed
the silence and were presented with this opportunity. Pathetic as usual.
By the way, Hip, you should go down to Stockton and catch a Ports game. Lots of fun. New ballpark as well.

No kidding, we went to the AAA All-Star game last night and … wait, this isn’t my blog, I’ll tell that story somewhere else.
What’s wrong with Feinstain? She’s a Democrat. (j/k) I don’t remember what’s wrong with her anymore, but there was something. What the hell was it? Hmm…

I’m speechless. Flabbergasted.
I guess I’ll be spending my money in Charleston, SC or San Diego.
